T-QUILTS beginnings were in 1992. A marathon runner brought creator Linda Long Warman 125 t-shirts in a plastic bag to be made into his second t-shirt quilt. She watched his enthusiastic reaction to the finished quilt and realized how attached people are to their t-shirts.
About that time she was clearing out her daughters’ rooms after their college graduations, finding piles of memory t-shirts. There were tees from every vacation, concert, sporting and college event they had ever attended. The t-shirts told a story that shouldn’t end up in a donation box. She made t-shirt quilts for them that displayed the wonderful journey her kids had been on so far in their lives.
She wanted to share the ability to make these quilts with others. She created the T-QUILTS pattern that could be used by anyone who wants to preserve their t-shirts and create an heirloom quilt of their memories. The T-QUILTS pattern is regarded as the best on the market with the most detailed, easy-to follow instructions. Novice sewers have used the pattern to successfully make their own, and professionals have bought the pattern and started their own thriving businesses, making T-QUILTS for thousands of people.
